The brief
Born in 2019 after the loss of professional skater Ben Raemers, The Coping Festival set out to create a free, ego-free space where skate jams, live music, creative workshops, and honest talks with pro skaters and Olympic athletes sit side by side.
The Coping started in a skate park and that’s still where we belong. Every commercial project we take on helps keep The Coping Festival free, independent, and open to everyone.
What we did
- 01 Created the festival’s enduring visual identity, CARE method (Connection, Action, Reflection, Education), and 'Stories for brighter futures' platform.
- 02 Produced multi-stage programming featuring Mr Scruff, Kuntri Ranks, DJ Woody, pro skate jams, and family art workshops.
- 03 Raised over £[20,000+] for mental health and community charities including the Ben Raemers Foundation.
