The brief

Global sports brand Oakley partnered with The Coping to show up authentically at a grassroots skate and wellbeing festival—not with a corporate booth, but with a co-created visual lockup and a live screen-printing experience people could take home.

A logo on a sponsor banner is easy to ignore. A t-shirt you screen-printed yourself at a skate jam stays in your wardrobe for years.

For Oakley Community Day, we built a dedicated co-branded lockup (TCF × OCD) and turned the identity into a live workshop—putting ink, squeegees, and fresh artwork directly into the hands of the crowd.

What we did

  • 01 Designed the custom TCF × OCD logo lockup and limited-edition event artwork uniting Oakley’s heritage with Salford skate culture.
  • 02 Set up a live screen-printing workshop at the event where attendees pulled their own prints onto t-shirts alongside local artists.
  • 03 Paired the creative activation with free skate jams, beginner lessons, and open conversations around mental health.
  • 04 Captured documentary photography and short-form video shared on Oakley’s global TikTok channel.

“When a global brand trusts grassroots organisers to lead the creative and the room, people feel the difference immediately.”
